Apple compote

Warm In The Winter – Nambyar

Salut, salut

Everyone has reasons to not be in the kitchen; you might be busy or have a lazy day. Both of these reasons are pretty good to not be in the kitchen. Yes, but the thing is, we all need/want to eat… Love is fond of apple compote and we really struggle in finding apple compote here so I decided to do it myself without spending 3 years in my kitchen and then I found this recipe that I adjusted over time.

Anyway, an apple compote recipe supra easy and fast = hapiness.

400g apple compote: 400g apple (around 4 apple), 2tbsp brown sugar, 1 1/2tbsp lemon zest, 1 lemon juice, 1tsp vanilla extract

Prep: 5mn — Cook: 5 to 10mn

Peel your apples and dice them. Put those dices in a little saucepan with the other ingredients, let it cook on medium and mix regularly so it’ll not burn. You can mash the rest of apples with a fork or masher but I like to keep them.

And there you go, you have a top apple compote in less than 15mn! Ready to be eaten! It goes really fast because it is really good so if I were you, I’ll put a spoon before… Oh too late ;) Oh, I forgot to tell you, I use granny smith apples but you can use the variety you like.

Des bisous
