A simple and yummy cake

One Danse – Drake, WizKid, Kyla

Salut, salut

Sometimes I do crazy recipes, this cake chocolate and beetroot for example, and sometimes I like classy ones, this cake I’m introducing right now. I have to admit that a yogurt cake is a basic, probably the easiest cake ever but maybe the more boring too. The other day, I wanted a cake that I could make in less than 10mn for my breakfast the next day and the good point was that I could finish the chocolate open in my kitchen; a black chocolate (Poulain) and a white one (Galak) (a not boring touch ;)!). About that, I still can’t find Poulain chocolate here so if you know where to find it or want to send a package to me…

A 23x30cm cake: 3 eggs, 1 greek yogurt, 1 yogurt pot of sunflower oil, half of a yogurt pot of brown sugar, 5g vanilla sugar, 11g baking powder and a pinch of salt. Yummy add: 6 black chocolate squares, 6 white chocolate squares.

Prep: less than 10mn — Bake: 45mn

Preheat the oven to 180°C.

In a first mixing bowl, mix the flour with the baking powder and the salt. In a second one, mix with a whisk the eggs, the yogurt, the oil and the sugar. Take your first mixing bowl, dig a well at the centre and add in it your second mixing bowl. Mix all the ingredients until you get something homogeneous.

Break your chocolate squares in 6 to make chocolate chips.

Butter your loaf tin or put baking paper in it, pour your almost-cake in it, drop off the chocolate chips and bake for 45mn. Let it cool a little before you eat it :)

So, what do you think of this basic cake? I think it is perfect for an easy-quick-goes with everything cake! Which easy-quick-goes with everything cake is your favourite?

Des bisous
