Chansons d’hiver – Vianney
After a little flu earlier this year, I have the chance to have a little cold now. Wales is really nice but the weather is doing a so-so not so nice… Where are the seasons gone? Anyway, because of that, it’s all about the big courses right now… things that keep your body in a good shape you see? I chose to show you a great soup today, so yummy that I’ve already done it 3 times since the beginning of the month… Why should we deprive our body of such a yummy treat? We shouldn’t!
Serve 4: 20g butter, 276 streaky bacon, 1 onion, 500g potato, 250ml hot water, 450ml milk.
Prep: 5 to 10mn — Cook: about 20mn
Peel and dice the onion. Heat the butter in a medium pan fry, once the butter is melted add the onion and the bacon. Let it to cook about 5mn until the onion is soft.
Add the hot water and the potatoes, bring to the boil. Let it cook about 15mn, your potatoes have to be tender.
Add the milk and bring to the boil, count 2 or 3mn and you’ll have your delicious soup. Now, serve a nice bowl, enjoy.
So, what do you think about this soup? Which one is your favourite? Des bisous.
